The Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, CA is home to the most prestigious NCAA men's college football Bowl games. The game is generally played on New Year's Day depending upon what day that falls on the calendar. The desired matchup for all contests is the best team in the PAC 12 vs. the top team in the Big 10. The Rose Bowl Stadium is also host to the BCS National Championship Game every fourth year. The seating capacity for the venue is 92,542.
The Tournament of Roses Parade usually precedes the Bowl game every year. This includes some of the most beautiful Rose covered floats, horses, and many marching bands. The stadium hosted the Olympics in 1932 and in 1984 and is located at 1001 Rose Bowl Drive in Pasadena, CA. During the regular season the venue is home to the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Bruins football team. Other huge events that have happened at the Rose Bowl include the Super Bowl, a U2 Concert, and Internationally relevant Soccer matches.
Rose.BowlPasadena.com is a converted Blog site that is going to be dedicated to reviews from all customers for game and concert experiences. To share this information please email us at reviews@bowlpasadena.com. We would like your specific seat locations also and all pictures that could help others in the future with their seat choices. We will be updating this site with all the review information and give insights into which teams will be favorites for the upcoming Rose Bowl 2013.
Currently the most likely matchup will pit the University of Southern California (USC) Trojans vs. the University of Michigan Wolverines. These two teams seem to be the clear-cut front-runners in the PAC 12 and Big 10 respectively. The biggest obstacle that could present a problem for that particular matchup would be if USC was in the National Championship hunt. This is a very real possibility and if that happens we would expect the Oregon Ducks to take their spot in the "Grandaddy of them all" the 2013 Rose Bowl.
